This means that the convolution length must be twice the projec tion length. Reconstruction time can be significantly re duced by decreasing the convolution length, however, direct truncation often produces artifacts in the reconstructed tomograms. To alleviate this problem, the Remez exchange algorithm has been used to construct finite length sequences in the spatial domain to represent desired frequency responses. Given the sequence length, frequency response, and error weighting function, the algorithm calculates the spatial domain sequence of specified length which is optimal in the sense that the weighted Chebyshev error from the desired frequency response is minimized. Several reconstruction filters realizable in less than one"fifth of the projection length have been designed which exhibit little loss in re constructed image quality yet reduce reconstruction time by 75Z. She is now happily settled in her new 2-bedroom condo, which she bought immediately upon joining Microsoft. She has an active social life and is enjoying the perks of being young and financially independent. She and Floy will be visiting the Philippines in February 2006. Floy started a new job at Canada Post in February 2005. Canada Post is one of the biggest government-owned corporations in the country. Floy is enjoying the challenges and surprises that he encounters in his job on a daily basis. As for me, I still working at the head office of A&W Food Services of Canada, as Accounting Administrator. Our life in Vancouver is pretty quiet and we have established a routine that we regularly follow. The only break we have is when we visit Karen in Washington.
